a combination of companies that have been prominent in crystal
growth or in radiation detection and measurement. Notable names include Bicron,
Crismatec, Harshaw/STI and NE Technology (inorganic and organic
scintillators and detectors); Gamma Laboratories and TGM Detectors (gas-filled
radiation detectors).
